 Największa małpa z rodziny Pongoidae. Potomek Orangutana sumatrzańskiego. Osiąga 4 metry wysokości  na czterech nogach, natomiast na dwóch nawet 7 metrów i wagę nawet 2 ton. Żywi się bambusem, owocami i małymi zwierzętami. Jego futro przybiera kolor od krwisto-czerwonego do złotego aż po biel i czerń.

The largest ape from Pongoidae family.Descendant of the Sumatran Orangutan. It reaches 4 meters in height on four legs, and on two even up to 7 meters and weighs up to 2 tons. It feeds on bamboo, fruits and small animals. His fur takes on the color from blood-red to golden to white and black.
