Stegozauropodobny, odległy kuzyn żółwi. Nie posiada on pancerza, zamiast niego ma 2 rzędy płyt kostnych, które kształtem przypominają glazurę, od których gad zawdzięcza swą nazwę. Na końcu ogona posiada ostre kolce.

Stegosaurus-like, distant cousin of turtles. It has no armor, instead it has 2 rows of bone plates, which shape resemble the glaze from which the reptile owes its name. At the end of the tail has sharp spikes.
